I'm currently working as a Product Design Lead and Creative Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co. In the channels team, I create new design patterns and systems for the Chase digital platform and lead the design of core functions, such as the account wallet on the home screen. From the first day I joined Chase, I was immediately assigned to the major project called Chase+, which provided the North Star of Chase's Digital Design. I had to quickly understand Chase's design system and business for this project. Our team successfully completed the project and provided the new design direction for Chase Digital Services.
I made many achievements as a UX leader at Samsung's financial subsidiary in Korea. I successfully launched 4 products and, after 1 year, became the company's UX leader. I managed the internal design team and in-house agency designers. I was responsible for the strategy, planning, and design of 8 native apps and over 30 financial services. As a result, our team won 2 IF international design awards and more than 10 national awards.
While I worked for Yahoo as a lead product designer, I was responsible for the UX/UI and visual design of Yahoo Esports and Sports. I was the lead designer for the Yahoo Weather application, both for IOS (Watch, iPhone, and iPad) and Android. It won lots of awards, including the Apple Design Award, Lovie Award in Europe, the Best Visual Design in Webby Award, Bronze in IDEA, Crunchies Awards, and more. I was also responsible for the lead visual design of the US homepage, and I provided the best-in-class content experience for the article, video, gallery content, blog, and sponsored content for the US media network. I launched Yahoo.com worldwide through all platforms in February 2013.
